
About Don
As an illustrator/designer, Don brings a wealth of know-how to the creative process. His years of experience collaborating with creative directors and marketing managers have honed his instincts and critical analysis. He collaborates to identify the critical issues, resolving and developing captivating solutions for them that are engaging, original, and reflect brand guidelines. He is a take-charge person with a friendly disposition.
Don’s style is typically referred to as clean and sophisticated. This has allowed him to easily transition between illustration, icon design, information graphics and motion graphics.
His work has been featured in trade magazines including Communication Arts, Print, How Magazines, Electronic Design, The Society of Illustrators, Licensing Today Worldwide, and Art Buyer. His sub-culture art ‘zine’ Eulipian is part of a permanent mail art archival exhibit in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Outside of work, Don is a passionate sketch artist. He is also a percussionist, playing congas, bongos, bells and clave in a Seattle rock band.
