Exploring the exhibits at MassMOMA
Last summer we visited Vermont, staying in an old farmhouse in the southern area near Bennington. One of the highlights was a visit to MassMOMA.

I like to bring a sketchbook along just in case something grabs me to draw. I filled two pages of random shapes there as we explored the various displays and installations, drawing lightly in pencil. Later I tightened them up a bit and rendered them in ink.

Sometimes I will add gray or color to an image using Photoshop. It can help create separation between a group of drawings, breaking up all the white. It can also give a drawing a sense of foreground and background, which is not usually apparent in an ink drawing.

Later I created a colored vector version of the drawing.
